A source of inspiration

The painters in Le Lavandou

In Le Lavandou, explore the "Painters' Trail," a 2.5 km path that allows you to walk in the footsteps of the artists who stayed in the Saint Clair district. This trail evokes the presence, between 1892 and 1926, of several important figures in the history of Neo-Impressionism, such as Théo Van Rysselberghe and Henri-Edmond Cross, as well as writers like André Gide and Emile Verhaeren. The former home of the Neo-Impressionist painter, Théo Van Rysselberghe, has been transformed into an art center, Villa Théo. Discover contemporary and classical temporary exhibitions.
The Mediterranean Garden

The Domaine du Rayol

This wonderful garden is owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral and showcases all the plant species native to the Mediterranean climate. Furthermore, it preserves one of the last remaining wild stretches of coastline.

During a walk of approximately one hour, with or without a botanical guide, you will discover extraordinary plants among the strawberry trees, rockroses, and myrtles of the Provençal maquis.

In Bormes-les-Mimosas

Fort Brégançon

The Fort de Brégançon in Bormes-les-Mimosas is open to the public during the summer season. This former hideout of brigands and pirates, located on a small island, became the official residence of the Presidents of the Republic in 1968.

Take advantage of your getaway to Bormes-les-Mimosas to discover this old medieval village that has retained all its authenticity.
